Step 1
Fill a pot with water and add the egg. Bring to a boil and cook for 8 minutes.
Step 2
Remove the egg from the boiling water and place in an ice bath for 5 minutes to cool down, then peel it.
Step 3
Peel and cut a sweet potato into chunks. Steam the sweet potato for about 15 minutes or until the sweet potato chunks are soft.
