Directions

Preheat the oven to 275 degrees F. / 135 degrees C.

Season the ribs with oil, salt, and pepper. Place on a baking tray, lined with foil or parchment paper for easy cleanup, and bake for 60 minutes uncovered.

Prepare the barbecue sauce while the ribs bake. Add the tomato paste, balsamic vinegar, salt, garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and maple syrup to a bowl. Mix until well combined. Divide the sauce into 3 separate bowls.

Remove the ribs from the oven and spread 1/3 of the sauce evenly through out the ribs. Return to the oven for 60 minutes.
