Add water to a pot, place the steaming basket on top and steam carrots for 10 minutes. Halfway through open the steaming basket and add the peas. Continue steaming carrots and peas together for an additional 5 minutes.
Add cooked carrots and peas to a blender along with the olive oil, hemp seeds, and thyme. Blend until smooth.
