marinara sauce

broccoli florets

Directions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. / 190 degrees C.
Step 2
Make the bolognese: In a large deep pot, heat the olive oil. Add the beef and season with a little salt and pepper. Brown the meat and break it into smaller pieces with your spoon until cooked through. This takes about 10 minutes.
Step 3
Add carrots, onions, and garlic; season with oregano and basil. Sauté the vegetables and beef for 5 more minutes. Add spinach and sauté for one more minute.
