Peel a banana and cut it in half. Then, cut one of the halves lengthwise and mash the other half. Offer both textures to your baby.
Providing both mashed and sliced banana allows your baby to explore different textures and develop important feeding skills. Soft slices are easy to grasp, supporting the development of the pincer grasp, while the mashed portion encourages self-feeding and strengthens oral muscles.
