Start by making the turmeric rice. Rinse the rice with water until the water runs clear. Set aside.

Add some olive oil to a pot. Once warm add the onion and sauté for 5 minutes on medium low heat. Add the rinsed rice, salt, and turmeric on top. Mix well until well combined.
Step: 3
Add the chicken broth, cover the pot and cook on low for 15 minutes. Once done, remove the pot from the heat and let it sit covered for 10 additional minutes.
