Ingredients
  • 1/2 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 Cup onion
  • 1/2 carrot
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/4 Cup green lentils
  • 1 Cup water
Directions
  • Rinse the green lentils and optionally soak them for an hour. Soaking is not necessary, but it is said to improve digestibility.
  • In a pot add the olive oil, onions and carrots. Sauté for 10 minutes. Add the garlic and sauté 30 more seconds.
