Add the water and quinoa to a pot. Cover the pot and cook on low heat for 15 minutes.
Add the asparagus to a baking tray and drizzle with olive oil. Bake for 15 minutes at 400 degrees F. / 204 degrees C.
Add the butter, garlic, and parsley to a bowl and combine. Season the steak with salt and pepper, and rub this butter mix on the steak well on both sides.
