Pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees F. / 190 degrees C. Remove the bottom tough part of the asparagus. Place the asparagus on a baking tray and rub with some avocado oil. Roast for 15 minutes.
While the asparagus cook, make your rice. Add the water and rice to a pot. Bring to a boil and reduce the heat to low. Cover the pot and cook on low heat for 20 minutes. When done cooking fluff rice with a fork.
